crabbing!
as mentioned before in my previous post, we (my secondary school gang and i) decided to go crabbing today!
we reached sembawang park at around 7 plus...

we packed dinner there, so as we were eating, we took a long and hard whiff at the surrounding air...just to make sure that we were next to a shipyard. funky!

after we had our delicious take-away dinner in the superb ambiance, we started getting ready...

actually it was only the second time that we have done something like this, so it took a lot trial and error again to get everything right. seow was the official bait-tier, so he tried a lot of weird ways to get it right...

but seow was getting such a thrill out of threading the lines through the fish's gills and onto the nets that no one was going to tell him to stop...

after everyone settled down, moby caught the first crab!!! seow promptly christianed him "larry".

and then finally billy caught one...

so we let them go one by one...

sigh. the good old days with good old friends...what else can a man ask for. oh yeah...and to the stupid stranger chic who kept asking stupid questions about what we were doing...the FISH is the bait...not the crab...sorry if we lead you to believe otherwise...but you asked for it...muahahaha.

furfur_angel...we did try the smelly rotten fish head before...trust me...it doesn't work...ask either victor or billy. i kept the freaking salmon head outside my bedroom window for 2 days straight, and the stench still didn't attract any crabs...it gave us lung poisoning instead. never again. btw, the bait-tier loved his job, so don't pity him...muahahaha.

furfur_angel...salmon heads easier to buy mah...some more they were on sale at ntuc, so i bought 2. i was the designated bait-tier that day, so i can attest to how smelly it was. there were even maggots on it already. i'm getting goosebumps again, just thinking about it...
Hey, where is the place? How to get there? Have to prepare anythings for the crabbing? Baits and? Give me some tips. Interesting, i wanna go play crabbing too.
