photographsky - gingin, rainy macritchie & botanic gardens

after spending new year's day recuperating from the previous two days of partying...it was time to head on home and spend some quality time with my family...and also to catch up on some photographsky...

note: i decided to try some new stuff with the photographs that i took...using a photo editing software, i could make some of the pictures look like they were drawn using watercolour paint (those that i've labelled as "portrait")...some of them actually came out ok...though you might have to click on the pictures to see the full effects of the transformation...

i reached home around noon time...where i found a beautiful girl sunbathing at my window...

she got even more irritated after i gave her my usual hug, so in turn, she gave me the cold shoulder...

in the afternoon, we decided to go to macritchie reservoir for some hsutographsky...cuz all three of us (my dad, my sister and i) brought our cameras...haha.

my sister came back from the states after only been gone for about a year...but she was remarking at how much singapore has changed...all the new buildings in the cbd...so many more cars on the road...even all the din tai fungs popping up all over the place...are we really growing that fast? hmmm...maybe singapore does invite a sprint-paced environment and lifestyle...even i, one who claims to stop and smell the roses, am being sucked in...but i guess it's something you just have to adapt to...

boy, am i looking forward to my cambodia trip later this month...just to slow it down some...relax and recharge a little before continuing with this race...besides, i'm running out of photographsky themes already...as you can probably tell...haha. =)
