i was in a bad mood this morning...

sales support minah (ssm): moby, i spoke with so-and-so just now...can you please call him to email you the customer's request, then you forward it to me? i need to verify something...
moby: har?? why do you need to beat about the bush? just ask him to forward to you can already lah...
ssm: but i need the customer's acceptance as well...
moby: the job has already been completed...so just base it on that loh. anyway, i'm not doing that service anymore, remember?
ssm: oh ok...
moby: sheesh. *grumble, grumble...*

after lunch at the sales support office...

moby: hey, i need a leave cancellation form...i need to come to work next week, so i don't wanna waste my leave.
sales support chic 1 (ssc1): oh ok...are you going out now?
moby: err...yeah, why?
ssc 1: are you coming back later?
moby: hmmm...good question. maybe, maybe not. why?
ssc 2: aiyah, just give it to him now lah...he's probably on leave tomorrow... *giggle giggle*
ssc 1: hehe. ok...anyway, happy birthday from all of us!

ssc 2: yay! now he won't pass us work to do already! hahaha.
moby: ok...this bribe works. hahaha.

i'm very moved. they don't normally buy presents for anyone...much less for someone who expects as much from them as i do...it kinda makes the voodoo dolls that i bought for them from bangkok look a little pale in comparison. but then again, who's counting...it's the thought.

my sales support girls are so good to me...they gave me a zippo lighter last year, which i promptly lost within 2 days...but i felt so bad that i bought another zippo just like it so that they wouldn't know the difference...

these are the people who make the stay in my company a little more worthwhile. if not, i'd be long gone. if any you girls (all 12 of you) ever read this, thanks once again, you've made my day...including you, ssm...sorry i scolded you this morning...it's just work.
