i wanna get a new watch.

any recommendations? no tag heuers (too common), no franck muellers (too expensive), and no citizens / rolex / omegas (too uncle)...

here's what i had in mind...

seiko perpetual calendar

seiko coutura

swiss army dive master 500m

seiko kinetic perpetual calendar

Ahhh, watcheees...
Rolex is not 'uncle'. Depends on the model you wear - a Rolex Submariner Date, SeaSweller, Explorer 2 or GMT Master 2 are all classics and hold their value well.
Alternatively, Panerai. Check out this http://www.paneristi.com/ and this http://www.panerai.com/s_page.xpd?id_lingua=2&id_sezione=3 and this for the various models http://www.paneristi.com/reference/vendome/vendomeframeset.html
Or if you prefer Japanese watches, go for the Japan-edition Black Samurai and Tunacans. See this http://www.higuchi-inc.com/index-e.html
Hope the above helps!

from those you have shortlisted... seiko kinetic perpetual calendar is good...

but i think frank muller or panarai will be a good choice if you have the extra $$$
