went to the singapore blogger's conference yesterday cuz blinkymummy insisted on bringing me along...just in case the media was overzealous in their attempts to interview her. but in the end, it was a big ado over nothing. the blogcon was held at dxo, where embassy used to be...what a boring place. anyway, you can see most of the pictures in BM's blog. there was one highlight of the day though, which i feel is worth putting up in my own blog:

they had belly dancers come and perform for don't-know-what-reason. wowsers! this one caught my eye cuz not only was she pretty and big-bonkered, she could dance really well! but me and blinkmummy came to an agreement that this kinda dancing should only be done in the prescence of your boyfriend or husband...not in a public area, much less in a blogger's conference (where's the fucking connection anyway???). btw, does anyone recognise the girl in the photo? *"would you be my girlfriend?" playing in the background*

after dinner and watching a bit of bay beats at the esplanade, we went back into dxo for free flow drinks. they never did any access control (i.e. no stamp, no name tags, etc), so anybody could have gone for the alcohol. but then again, we were fucking bored there. everybody else was talking about each other's blogs, calling each other by their blog names (which was a bit weird..."hey! you're blinkymummy right! i'm the big fuck!"...), and talking about whatever techy shit was out. i, on the other hand, am a small fry in the blogging world...so basically i was introduced to everyone as "moby beng"...that's what BM linked me as in her blog. but i guess that's where most of my hits come from anyway, so i didn't really care...even though i felt like mr. condolezza rice and mr. jennie chua put together.

i liken my experience at blogcon to meeting people after chatting with them on irc. it's just different when it's virtual and online. you're more bold, and you have more time to think before typing things out. or maybe it's cuz i just wasn't in a very sociable mood...that kinda happens when your job requires you to meet new people, suck cock and bend over on a daily basis.

after drinking enough, BM and i decided it was time to go to zouk, where they don't talk about domains and the only platforms are those that you dance on. the rest is kinda blurry...dancing, drinking, listening to "ice muthafucking t" rap some "ole skool shite". maybe i should go back to my old school days too and start exercising again.
