haircut
after trying for 3 times to get a haircut since last wednesday, i finally managed to go down to le salon after work. i like going there cuz the service is really top class...and well, for the first time in a long, long time, my hairstylist is NOT gay...at least i think he's not. i've been going to le salon for about 4-5 months now...every month, around the beginning of the month, i'll make my pilgrimmage to taka. i always look forward to the head massages that the shampoo girls (sg) give when they're washing my hair...pure ecstasy. i met one today...who's the apprentice of my hairstylist:
sg: how's the water?
moby: fine. thanks.
sg: what do you put on your hair???
moby: err...wax...why? very hard to wash off is it?
sg: yeah...how do you do it?
moby: oh, i shampoo twice.
sg: oh ok... *continues to shampoo*
sg: so, you go cheonging?
moby: err...yeah...sometimes. you? *thinks to himself, that sounds like one of MY pick up lines!*
sg: oh ok...cool. i go too.
*sg stops to rinse hair...moby disappointed cuz no head massage...*
moby: where to?
sg: wala wala
moby: oh ok...i go there quite often too...about once a week.
sg: oh ok...like that next time you go can look for me loh!
moby: err...ok...you can give me your number later.
*sg applies more shampoo...and starts head massage this time*
moby: har? you really go and shampoo twice ah? *thinks to himself, haha. well done.*
sg: hehe.
moby: so you studied in poly before you worked here?
sg: nah...i could have gone for jc, but i decided to come here. so i came right after my 'o' levels.
moby: wow...that means your damn young lah. 18-19?
sg: yeah, 18...actually 17 lah...birthday not here yet. hehe.
moby: wah lau! underage drinker lah! i send my cisco guards after you then you know ah! haha.
sg: but i have a lot of friends who are over 20!
moby: ok...that's a relief, now you can go and drink all you want.
*massage continues*
she ended up massaging my head AND neck for 15 minutes cuz my hairstylist was still with another customer. shiok. and i made a new friend! i'm feeling younger already...haha.
so anyway, i cut my hair short...quite short...rather short...but i like it. =)
