wala wala

just came back from wala wala...i was supposed to meet jason for drinks after our respective workouts today (he running and weights, me golf range =P). so we decided on wala. i messaged blinkymummy to come along too.

it was freaking undergrad night at wala's or something...damn a lot of young punks with their sweet young things in tow...all nodding their heads to whatever crap music was on. i remember when i was a young punk once...with an earring and all...i thought i was so cool. now i look at them and wonder what the fuck they are doing with their lives. i think that they were wondering the same thing about me.

so the night went on with blinkymummy getting increasingly bored cuz the band wouldn't sing the chinese song that she requested for, and jason getting increasingly tired cuz he was just tired. then the overweight bass player thought it would be funny to start singing "the reason" by hoobastank to the lyrics: "i'm not a skinny person, it's something that i must live with everyday...but i continue growing...i wish that i could fit into my jeans...etc etc." the rest not important cuz it was a lousy rendition that basically was asking the girls to please suck his shrunken ding dong. that kinda woke the two up...cuz they were giving the "what the fuck" kinda look...we didn't clap btw. but i hope that the bassist does get a blow one of these days for his own good cuz he looked like he was going to explode from all the 20 odd years of sperm stored inside of him. sorry, i'm just trying to make myself feel better about my own fat face by making fun of fat bastard.

the band was actually not too bad...they let mogan, a really talented singer friend of mine from nus who happened to be there also, on stage to sing with them. he's got a damn good voice, but the freaking lead singer with the goatee kept trying to take the limelight away...what a cock. anyway, mogan was brilliant, as always, and found a way to outshine the goateed guy even without singing everything. now that's talent.

don't have any pictures to show cuz i left my camera in the car, but i'm pretty sure that blinkymummy will have hers posted up in no time...and no, that's not me in the picture with her...it's the fat bassist. =)
