i went to double o last night. crappy, loud, blaring music accompanied with an empty dancefloor greeted me when i reached at 113opm. i had just sent blinkymummy off to the airport, and was already pretty darn tired, but jason and his harem of girls asked me to go down to celebrate fiona's birthday. apparently fiona was part of an exotic dance competition and got free membership to double o, which offered on a member's: 1. 20 shots of a reddish-purplish concoction (which they claimed was bacardi rum) that tasted like crap, 2. a bottle of cheapo sparkling wine (which can't even be called champagne cuz it was made in spain), 3. 10 guests get to cut queue (which counted for nothing cuz there wasn't much of a queue to cut, and plus, you still had to pay cover charge of $20...with no drinks).

after a while, the girls and jason got a bit bored of double o, so they decided to go to some other place in central mall...they asked me if i wanted to join them, but hmmm...it was just a proposition that was too difficult to accept. anyway, i decided to join my other friend, ah guak (who happened to be at madam wong's) at madam wong's. actually before that, me and jason came out to meet this girl that ah guak wanted to introduce to us. she reminded me very much of adeline (my ex-girlfriend). the way that she talked, her actions...almost everything...except the braces...was very similar or almost identical to the ex. it took a while for this similarity to register...but after a while, it became almost scary...especially the part when she told me that she was going to get a belly button ring (ade had one too). but it was nice...just to meet someone "new". hopefully.

for once in a long time, i came back from double o (and mohd sultan) sober...and happy. =)
