updates 2

went for the movie yesterday...fantastic 4 is not that great. came out of the theatre wondering what people were raving about, with all the corny lines and the so-so effects. oh well. at least i had a nice lamp chop for dinner before that at marche. i hope they have marches in lausanne. =)

joey didn't want to go for the east coast thingy, cuz she felt awkward...so she took a cab home. but maria was in the vicinity so i gave her a ride to the "party - farewell kev". like i mentioned before, she just came back from the states, and well, she had a lot of gossip to catch up on. here's a snippet:

maria: ooi! i just heard the other day why you broke up with mandy! (*mandy's the ex-girlfriend before adeline*)
moby: err...ok...anyway, it's the other way around...she broke up with me.
maria: yeah lah! of course lah! cheat on her of course she break up with you lah! still wanna tell me that "things didn't work out..."
moby: well...it's not really something to brag about...and technically, i didn't lie to you right? haha.
maria: yeah, true...
moby: and plus, she's with theloveofherlife now right?
maria: hahaha. yeah, true...
*one minute later*
maria: then why did you break up with adeline?
moby: it's the other way around AGAIN lah. *sniff, sniff* she broke up with me cuz i loved her too much, i think.
maria: well that sucks.
moby: yeah, kinda.
maria: the first time someone broke up with you for something you didn't cause huh?
moby: stop rubbing it in already lah! but yeah...first time. fuck lah, where's my tissue box???

basically the whole trip to the east coast park was to update her on the episodes of melrose place (singapore style) that she's missed over the last 3 years, and about getting her back into the gossipmonger scene...talking about who broke up with who, why they broke up, who got married to who, why they got married...etc etc.

then we reached the beach hut around 10 plus. we ordered don't know how many jugs of beer...and took some pictures:

it's raining cats and dogs outside now. damn it. like that how to go back to farrer and pack for my trip???
