bowel movement number 3
bowel movement number 4
not a great way to spend an afternoon. especially in an air-conditioned room...
in the end, when i decided that i had enough of the music, i called maria and asked her to go out. she stayed in raffles hall before she moved on to study in the states. she recently came back to singapore to get married. to cut a long story short, we met in town and went to play pool.
9 ball setup
maria and moby
maria had to leave early to meet her personal trainer (gym kinda trainer) in simei...she wanted to fit into her wedding gown (oh yeah, sorry...for those of you who know maria, firstly, she's back in singapore, and secondly, she's getting married in 2.5 months...apologies for the delayed update).
i was supposed to meet up with joseph for dinner and stuff...but the bugger was late as usual, so i was forced to take more pictures of whatever scenery i could find in town.
the symbol of security (and wealth?) at takashimaya...
taka lion
the symbol of how technology is gaining speed and spreading to the masses...
hello?
then finally joseph arrived and immediately showed me his "achievement" from the previous night. apparently he went for supper after we left his house, and fended away a parang swing from some stupid brainless ah-beng (i suspect it's lupin tan) aimed at a damn chio girl who happened to be sitting at the next table. a symbol of bravery, or a symbol of stupidity and desperation?
joseph's battle scar
actually, what happened was that the ah beng slipped and accidentally cut him. so...i guess i (we) should give joseph more credit...or not.
joseph wanted to go to sushi tei at paragon for some japanese food, despite my strong objections (cuz of the mozarts and gershwins mixing concertos in my stomach)...but since it was the last day before he left for cambodia again, the composers took a back seat. besides, the wasabi would probably numb the notes a bit. so anyway, joseph was damn hungry, and hence took a great interest in the menu.
joseph studying for sushi tei 101
we ordered quite a lot...and after a while, even freaking ludwig van beethoven couldn't keep me away from the wasabi...
WASSSAAAABBBBIIIII
for some strange reason, i love to tear. it's a strange fetish, if you can even call it one...but tearing just makes things better. when my eyes swell up and water, i feel a lot of emotions and grief escape along with the salty stuff. sure, i get exhausted (and wet), but in the end, i feel better. i guess i'm not a big boy after all...
dinner was good...and there was this chio waitress (cw):
jo: eh, damn chio leh...and her legs damn nice man.
moby: yeeeeaaaahhhh...
jo: get to know her leh...
moby: ok...i'll try to see her nametag...*waves to cw* "excuse me, can we have a miso soup please?"
cw: ok.
*cw comes back with miso soup...places it down...leaves*
jo: what's her name???
moby: trainee.
jo: alright!!!
moby: but we didn't get her number...
jo: nevermind, we'll just call sushi tei paragon...
moby: ok...but i think i saw that the other guy's name over there is also trainee leh...
jo: nevermind...we call sushi tei paragon and ask for trainee tan...then we call and ask for trainee lim...whichever one's a girl, we'll have her number already loh!!
moby: you're brilliant.
jo: i know. by the way, what's that green slimy stuff in the miso soup that you're drinking?
well done.
