as planned

the day went as planned. i attended my colleague's daughter's first birthday, but didn't meet any chics. gave her $30 for her birthday but she still wouldn't intro her friends to me. damn.

went for golf after that and hit some balls. the cute chic was there too. oh yeah, i forgot to mention that there's this cute chic in my golf class. she's not exactly chio material, but she's presentable...girlfriend material i would say. now if only her boyfriend would stop coming for all the classes. damn.

met up with marvin for dinner. we decided to go to marche at the heeren. marche is actually from switzerland...does anyone know why it's like a swiss thingy to have this as a symbol of swiss stuff?

mooooo 2

we were both starving by the time we met. he had two chicken breasts, i had a ribeye steak (medium rare as usual), and we shared two rosties and a plate of wedges. talk about carbo overload.

dinner

oh yeah, we also drank a pint of erdinger each.

fluids

marvin showed me his camera too...konica minolta something or other...it was pretty cool. but he's gotta start learning how to take photos lah...focus!!!

skypic

there were a lot of cute chics around, but they were walking by too fast for us to take pictures of, so this is the only one that we managed to convince to take a picture with us:

aunty happy and marvin

in fact, aunty happy was quite concerned about marvin...she kept asking for his age, and whether he was old enough to drink his erdinger. i think it was just a ploy to find out if he was old enough to bring home. good thing i stopped him from revealing too much. muahahaha.

after dinner, we walked around a bit, checking out cds, chics and other chics...(cuz we decided that watching the fireworks together was a bit too gayish...and plus, it was already 8 plus by the time we finished dinner..the flash and bang show was over).

then we happened to see an old man and two golden retreivers along orchard road...we both love golden retreivers, so we stopped to say hello.

max is only 2 years old, but he's a big boy already! his tail was wagging so fast that the camera couldn't even capture it...friendly friendly dog. =)

max

this is rusty...who's 6 years old. he was probably a bit tired from the walk along orchard road, so he just laid back for a while. i have a feeling that he was called rusty-bin-relak in his past life. muahahaha.

rusty

their owner and i talked a while about cameras and whatnots, but it's just weird...finding the 3 of them along orchard...nice surprise. =)

walking the dogs along orchard road

we ended up at indochine wisma after going to play pool at far east shopping centre. the usual band was there. i said my regular hi's and wassups...then they played their usual songs...jeffrey (the one in the middle), has the best voice i've heard in the longest time. they're really damn good. blinkymummy, i'll bring you there some day so that you can draw inspiration for your band. =)

i came home after that.

i'm starting to feel more relaxed. weekends should be like this.

sounded like a fun weekend. I too find that coming across something simple, like the uncle with the dogs to be quite uplifting and happy for no particular reason. :)
