i want to break free

"i want to break free....i want to break free....i want to break free from your lies you're so self-satisfied i don't need you....i've got to break free. god knows...god knows i want to break free."

this goes out to all those who have suffered from the lack of acknowledgement and total utter disrespect from your company. fuck them.

the corporation is only as good as the people in it. what if all of us just got up one day and resigned. my company would fucking fall flat on it's face. no sales staff means no income, no one to explain to the customer why it's a fucked up system, and no one to stick the blame to. i've dreamt of such a day...and woke up with yet another heavy burden on my chest.

The reality of the global economy is such that more and more we have to "suck it up" and deal with it.

Gone are the days when we did indeed say "fuck you, I quit!"

When things like that happen to me, I just think how about the other aspects of my life - although substantial, work is just one part of it.

It takes training to take deep breaths and not be tempted to fire off an angry email and yell at someone.

"Count to 10, 1, 2, 3..." :)

My first job, when I decided to "throw letter", I hated the company so much that I tried to incite a "mass-quit"...

Needless to say, it didn't work becos ppl
1) needed their job ie. the crappy paycheck
2) doesn't want to step out of their comfort zone
3) think they are not good enuff for better jobs
4) they enjoy getting mistreated
5) too freaking lazy to find a new job

i'm trying to gather feedback on the possibility of a mass-resignation...most of the people in my team are fucking pissed with what's going on...empty promises, obvious biasedness and false hopes, along with ever-increasing targets and instability. we just want what we deserve. if you promise us something, then do it. if we've done our part, then do your part. simple as it may sound, but it's just not happening. we'll see in the coming months...

dude, whassup?
be forewarned abt mass resignations as there are bound to be ppl who'll chicken out the last min. Worse is if they implicate u as ring leader. Take it cool. Don't bother abt whether ppl will leave or not. Think for yourself. If you wanna leave, then leave. Others will leave on their own merit.
If the org is bad (like the ONE i was formerly from), the masses will leave naturally. It just takes time for different ppl to decide.
So bro, don't wait. If you hate the fucking job, the just do it.
