wine company again

going down to wine company again today...meeting up with blinkymummy and some of her blogger friends. i hope it won't be as awkward as it was at blogcon the other time. maybe i'll see the bellydancer there...or serene!!! =) i'll update this after i get back. cheers in advance.

so anyway, i had another long day at work. i woke up at 845am leh...then worked until 715pm leh. given the normal hours i work (10am to 4pm), i find this very disturbing. fuck man. i can't stand this anymore. for the last 3 days (from tuesday to today, thursday), i've been working like almost 12 hour shifts. it's ridiculous. i think i'm losing my sex drive. fuck. i hate work. and the white hairs are just popping out of nowhere.

anyway, i took my camera to the office today and took a photo of my babies:

my colleague gave me 5 swordtails when they were born...meaning that i raised them since then were a little fry...but i lost one to disease (don't know what)...and another one to the drain (i accidentally flushed it down when cleaning their tank...shit.).

oh yeah, i was supposed to go to sumatra with my boss on monday, but apparently he had better things to do with his time. well, at least i'll have my hotel room....i hope.

back to tonight...i was supposed to pick up blinkymummy from her place...along the way, i took a picture of the sun setting along the PIE...

no belly dancers nor serenes around, just a bunch of ang mohs and some oldish looking people who probably wanted to feel young again...compared with the usual bunch of young punks trying to feel old...funny. anyway, given the scenery, or the lack of it, i was forced to take a picture of my favourite blogger again...

this was the whole group...most of whom i didn't know...only 3 other chics there...2 were already attached, and the other one, fayeth, deleted her picture from my camera cuz it didn't do her justice. oh well...better luck next time.

half way through, fayeth announced to everyone that another bomb blast had occurred in london. blinkymummy was worried about her friend that stayed somewhere there...and called him a million times to check on him, but he didn't pick up the phone...i hope he's ok too.

i went home and checked the internet news for some updates. i read a few articles, and thankfully, it seemed that there wasn't much damage done...no deaths at least. but one line kinda stuck out in the article: "At least one reported a minor explosion in a man's backpack, and then the man muttering that something had gone wrong." the fucker must have been like, "cheebye, wanna die also cannot...oh well, let's go get a cup of tea and a mutton chop."
